Nicole Fisher is a seasoned educator who believes every student is unique—and that learning plans should reflect this reality. With a strong foundation in psychology and special education, Nicole crafts personalized strategies that leverage each child’s strengths while addressing their challenges. She works closely with families to understand a student’s learning profile and what truly motivates them.

Nicole holds a B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College and an M.A. in Learning Disabilities from Columbia University’s Teachers College. Her deep understanding of educational testing data and learning trends helps her translate complex evaluations into clear, actionable plans.

The success of her approach comes from her extensive classroom experience at some of New York City’s most respected independent schools, including Rodeph Sholom, Ramaz, and Spence. This hands-on experience, combined with her work tutoring hundreds of students, gives her a unique perspective on the academic and emotional hurdles students face.

Nicole is also a strong believer in the power of a growth mindset. She weaves positive psychology and growth-oriented thinking into everything she does, helping students build confidence and resilience alongside academic skills.
